Goal: Explore, have fun, and make cool projects.

Throughout my sophomore year I created numerous short films, as well as freelanced some photography. What resulted are a few very cool projects and many fun photos. To edit I would use the Adobe creative suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc.)

Short Films

The following short films are my two favorite that I produced. More can be found on my YouTube and Instagram @markwithacamera. Also, I have performed various video shoots for freelance gigs.

Passion

Passion is a short documentary showcasing two Bloomington small business owners. One is a book store named Caveat Empetor and the other is Millers Barbershop. the film utilizes still and moving shots as well as magazine overlays using stop motion photography.

The Beauty of Living

TBOL is the largest project I took on which employed a full production team and professional cinema equipment. The main character, famous influencer Andy Morris, stars as a pianist whose notes control the tempo of the short story. It aims to capture the beauty of life–both the good and the bad–and does so through music. TBOL was nominated for 4 different awards at IU’s cinema festival.

Photography

I have shot photos for various reasons–mostly intrigue. Below are some shots from freelance shoots, Indiana Daily Student articles, and general fun shoots. Further photos can be found on my Wilderness Voyageurs portfolio section.
